Information on Subscribing and Unsubscribing

One of the most asked questions on the list is something along the lines of, "How do I unsubscribe?" This question will bring down the wrath of many people upon you because if you are a responsible list member you will either check this page or have kept the original message telling you how. As an aside, I have actually banned a few people who have been incredibly rude when asking this question (such as mailbombing either me or the list with demands to be taken off of the list). So in order to prevent that from happening, this page tells you everything you need to know about subscribing and unsubscribing.

First off, there are two versions of the mailing list. The normal version is just that: all messages sent to the mailing list are sent to all subscribers. The digest version compiles all the messages until they reach a certain size and then mails that large message out to everyone on the digest list. This is useful for people who have a limit on the number of messages they are allowed to have in their mail box.

To Subscribe to the Palladium Mailing List (Normal Version)
Send a message to palladium-request@dante.neonexus.com with subscribe in the subject line. Anything in the message body will be ignored.

To Unsubscribe from the Palladium Mailing List (Normal Version)
Send a message to palladium-request@dante.neonexus.com with unsubscribe in the subject line. Anything in the message body will be ignored.

To Subscribe to the Palladium Mailing List (Digest Version)
Send a message to palladium-digest-request@dante.neonexus.com with subscribe in the subject line. Anything in the message body will be ignored.

To Unsubscribe from the Palladium Mailing List (Digest Version)
Send a message to palladium-digest-request@dante.neonexus.com with unsubscribe in the subject line. Anything in the message body will be ignored.

No matter which version of the list you are on, when you want to send mail to the list it should be sent to palladium@dante.neonexus.com. All administrative commands, however, should be sent to the appropriate -request address (as described above).

When a person's account bounces a lot of messages, they will be unsubscribed. So if you don't get any messages for a few hours, just try resubscribing. Yes, it's a pain at times, but it's the best I can do at the moment. If I can fix this problem, I will.
