He was a strange child, because he was totally bald until the age of 12, and he had the strangest green eyes. Every so often, a strange light would flare in them and then disappear. When he entered puberty at the age of 12, his hair began growing quickly, leaving him with a thick head of long silver hair. Since an early age he was trained in the art of Shao-Lin Kung Fu, resulting in an incredible physique and superior physical abilities. At the age of 14, a demon invaded the monastery while all of the masters were gone. Unlike the periodic intrusions by lesser creatures, this demon was _powerful_. Powerful beyond the capabilities of the dozen initiates left in the monastery. Only because of Shen's supernatural capabilities was the demon defeated and the monastery saved. Previous to this the masters hadn't treated him any different from the other initiates. Afterwards, however, the master of the monastery took his training in hand personally. The master helped him focus his developing powers on areas which would help his martial arts training. It was his hope that Xue Shen would become a champion of good in a rapidly darkening world. At the age of 19 he completed his training and traveled to the United States to find his way in the world. Ever the philosopher, he feels that his path will become clear to him over time. Xue Shen is a 5'10" tall man who weighs roughly 170lbs. He has tanned skin from his constant exercise and long silver hair parted down the middle. His eyes are deep green and he can make them glowly brightly at will, although they also begin glowing when he grows angry. When he first arrived in America, he was dressed in a robe and sandals. He found that he stood out, to say the least, and since then he has changed his wardrobe. Now he wears boots, leather pants, and a trenchcoat belted at the waist. He carries an army duffel with his few possessions, including his sword.
