| The Briefcase SMG was
developed in the 1990's for use by the bodyguards of important corporate and government
officials. The gun appears to be a normal briefcase which is available in a variety of
coverings and colors. However, by depressing two studs on the handle (both reachable with
one hand, having two is a safety measure) the faceplate and handle of the briefcase detach
and the rest of the case fall off in one piece. Attached to the underside of the faceplate
is a 10mm sub-machinegun. The clip fits into the grip and another clip is attached
directly in front of the trigger. This extra clip can be used as a handhold when using the
gun two-handed. The gun itself is
made from high-tech ceramics and plastics so that it is totally undetectable by modern
scanners (only the best government scanners have a chance of detecting them (30% chance).
In addition, the briefcase has a small compartment which is 1 inch deep for carrying
papers and other slim items. This compartment stays sealed when the gun is removed. The
case itself has an AR of 14 and 120 SDC.
