Bottomless Quiver by Gabriel
The bottomless quiver was designed by an Elven alchemist during the Age of Elves millennia ago. It was provided to the heroes of the Elves, elite Elven rangers that needed to carry a great amount of ammunition because of their extended sojurns into the wilderness, protecting the Elven nation. These quivers can hold effectively unlimited amounts of arrows, providing a warrior with tremendous firepower, especially in the hands of a master archer.

Bottomless quivers are still manufactured to this day, though rarely because of the immense price put upon them. They are created through the use of a variety of runes, wards and spells. They can be made by most alchemists, however they take 2D6 months to create. Thus many will not make them, or charge the buyer obscene prices for them.

Bottomless Quiver

  1. Can hold an unlimited amount of arrows (effectively unlimited that is, generally tops out at around 50,000 pounds of arrows), but only arrows! It cannot hold a sword for example. The quiver can also hold bolts but this is less common, as most Elves feel disdain for crossbows. To retrieve an arrow, the owner simply puts his hand in the quiver and thinks of the type of arrow he wants and it appears in his hand. Thus you can have different types of arrows without having to root around in there looking for the right type.
  2. The quiver appears empty to everyone except for its owner. If turned upside down, the arrows will not fall out. The only person that can remove arrows from the quiver is the owner or the alchemist that made it (unlikely, but you never know).
  3. The quiver is indestructible! This does not mean that is can't be cut, etc. If you cut it with a sword the cut will close right behind the blade, like cutting water. It is impossible to destroy a quiver without using magic. However this also means that someone can't use the quiver to block a sword and not get hit.

Price: 300,000 or more (never less, almost always more)
