However, the story is that the Ankh was a gift to Ramses from Osiris himself! No one knows if this is true (except maybe Osiris), but even if it is not the Ankh is extremely useful. By spending either magic or psychic energy, the wearer is able to form a protective barrier around themselves. It will stop all fast moving objects, from bullets to lasers to punches. However it does not provide any protection against environmental hazards such as fires or gases. In addition, by spending an extremely small amount of energy the Ankh can be made to glow brightly, radiating true daylight! This will keep vampires at bay beyond the circle of light. The Ankh is indestructible and cannot be removed without the wearer's permission.

Powers: Note that these powers can only be activated by psychics or practitioners of magic.

Aura of Protection: By spending 20 ISP or 10 PPE, the wearer can form a protective forcefield around their body. The shield has 120 SDC and lasts for 5 minutes.
Radiate True Daylight: By spending 5 ISP or 2 PPE the wearer can cause the Ankh to radiate true daylight. This illuminates a 15 foot radius and will prevent vampires from entering the circle. The light lasts for 20 minutes.
